I’ve just set up this account so it stands to reason that I’m going to get carried away for the first few days and actually post things. The test will be in a weeks time (I have a very short attention span) if I am still blogging then.
Anyway, how did I get here? Well, it’s Saturday night and I should be out visiting my friend (beer), however, due to signing up for some torture (season ticket at S.A.F.C) I’m totally skint, so I can’t go out. Instead I find myself marooned on my couch, bored, whilst Mrs Beermat watches the TV.
So what does one do on such an occasion? Obviously, you set up an account with wordpress and start to bare your soul to the global internet community. It’s something I’ve thought of doing for a while but never got round to. Well it’s that and the slight embarrassment I feel about the whole thing. Hence when the wife asks my reply is “nowt really, just lookin”. What the hell does that mean!?! I might as well just tell her I’m surfing for porn – that’s probably what she suspects anyway!!
Mmmmm, I miss beer……
